Toronto Fashion Week

Last week at Toronto Fashion Week we went down and took some fashion pictures of the models, designers and people attending the shows. We didn’t have the opportunity to see any of the shows but we met a lot of people and got some great pictures of this years trends. It was really great to see all the different styles people had and meet other bloggers from around the world (links below their pictures). Spending time with so many unique, creative and fashionable people gave us tons of ideas for upcoming blog posts and future plans for our blog.

There's such a great range of trends right now and we saw people sporting them all. A huge trend for spring in past and current years are pastel colours - pinks, blues and cream - so many people were incorporating these fun colours in their outfits both as a colour scheme in the entire outfit but as well as an accent by having coats, skirts and dresses that stood out against the rest of their ensemble.

Everyone at fashion week can attest to the black and leather trend being everywhere. Whether it was black leather boots, leather pants or jackets everyone had some leather (or leather looking) on at one point or another. The all black look goes hand in hand with the leather. It gives a classic, clean and put together look but can sometimes get boring when over done. By adding leather a cool feel with the different texture is given and changes the outfit from simple, to something more daring and interesting.
